To celebrate all of the gorgeous hard working Mum's in our community, please join us for a High Tea on Saturday 18th May at 2pm!  We invite all Mum's in our community to come along for an afternoon of great laughs, conversation and friendship. Whether this is your first time joining TasMBA for an event or we haven't seen you in a while, all are welcome because we know that parents supporting other parents (especially in our multiple birth network) is the most incredible treasure to find. Treat yourself to some indulgent house-made sweets, finger sandwiches, and scones whilst savouring freshly brewed coffee and loose leaf tea. For a little extra, you can enjoy specialty teas, coffees, icy beers on tap, cool climate wines, and tantalizing Tasmanian spirits like gin, whiskey, and vodka. We also have some surprises for all attendees as a special Mother's Day gift! (Please advise of any special dietary requirements on your ticket order) Tickets are at a reduced cost of $18 per person for members and $28 per person for non-members. The Clarence Plains Child and Family Centre is a child centred, child friendly, comfortable and warm environment for all families with young children. There is a safe area for young babies to play or relax, with plenty of space for double pram parking! All children (from crawlers to runners) will enjoy exploring in a challenging yet safe indoor/outdoor space, including home corner, sandpit, indoor treehouse, bike track, swings and much more! There are quiet spaces where bubs can sleep while Mum/Dad have a cuppa and take some time for themselves. Our hosts and the other parents are on hand to help with babies at the drop of a hat. Multiple Birth Awareness Week (MBAW) is a National campaign to raise awareness around, and draw attention to, the unique realities for multiple birth families in Australia. The 2024 theme is "Multiples Unfiltered", so we invite you to join us for a morning of family fun and conversation! Sunday 24th March, 9.30am at Dru Point Park, Margate. (We have the large hut inside the playground booked) A BBQ breakfast of egg and bacon rolls/sandwiches will be provided . There is a café across the playground which will be open for you to purchase a cuppa or alternate food and drinks. Dru Point is a great family park and playground with a fun bike/scooter track, so bring along your own wheels to whip around the track! Tickets are free for member families and only $5 per family for non-members. You'll be asked to list attendees and dietary requirements when you secure your ticket. We invite all multiples families (expecting, new and seasoned!), adult multiples and support people to join us for a fun morning!
