The Tasmanian Multiple Birth Association (TasMBA) is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteer parents of multiples, affiliated with the Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA). We recognise the unique situation that, as parents and carers of twins, triplets (and more!), we find ourselves in and provide support, discussion, friendship, education and strategies that will make all of our lives even more enjoyable. Support

TasMBA offer advice from those who know. Our volunteer committee is full of mums who have experienced multiple births in all their different forms. Have a question? Feel free to ask us

 

Community

TasMBA have a vibrant community and hold events throughout the year. We even have a little visit from Santa at our Christmas party celebrations. From playgroups to quiz nights, park BBQs to high teas, we have it covered.

 

Membership

Our Committee

The best way to get more involved with TasMBA is to join our committee. We have a spot for everyone, even if you can only offer an hour or two, volunteering with TasMBA is rewarding work - especially when you see the adorable twin babies having a giggle.

Fundraising

An important part of TasMBA is fundraising so that we can provide support to the members of our community that need it most.  You can support TasMBA by purchasing a ticket in our yearly raffle or donating a prize.

Mini-Multiples Olympics   CELEBRATE AND SHARE YOUR CULTURE, HERITAGE AND IDENTITY THROUGH PLAY! Choose your country, decorate your bib and participate in games and activities.   Free event for all ages, there will be a comfy baby zone, craft station, indoor and outdoor games, fruit platters and goodie bags for participants.   REGISTER BY THURS 22nd OCTOBER FOR ENTRY TO THE LUCKY DOOR PRIZE RAFFLE!   When: Saturday 24th October 2pm-4pm Where: Moonah Community Centre, 7 Gormanston Rd.

Bring your singing voice & Christmas cheer! Join us for a relaxed Christmas catch-up in the park with other local multiple-birth families. Bring your twins, triplets and their siblings, pack a picnic rug and settle in for an easy afternoon together. There’ll be a BBQ lunch with carol singing, cookie decorating, games and activities, ornament decorating, Santa photos and a members prize draw — plenty to keep the kids busy while families catch up and enjoy a bit of Christmas fun. This is a free event, proudly supported by Glenorchy City Council, helping us bring local multiple-birth families together for a festive afternoon in the community.
