The main aim of the Playgroup and Parent Support Program is for you to form connections socially with other families who are also in the unique situation that we find ourselves in- caring for multiple children.  Your host Jennifer will run the sessions each week during school terms to help you to smile for 2 hours!  As well as the host- everyone who attends is amazing at providing support to fellow parents, we have many funny, serious and repetitive discussions about life, children, relationships, poo, fights, bonds, prams, bottles, schools- you name it, we talk about it!  Attending playgroup can provide you with the foundations for lifelong friendships.  New and expectant families are more than welcome to join us! It can be so valuable to meet others in a similar situation early in your journey for support and friendship. For the Children it's a play paradise! The Playgroup Tasmania Inc playspace is a child centred, child friendly, comfortable and warm environment for all families with young children from birth to age 5. There is a safe area for young babies to play or relax, with plenty of space for double pram parking! All children (from crawlers to runners) will enjoy exploring in a challenging yet safe indoor/outdoor space. There are quiet spaces where bubs can sleep while Mum/Dad have a cuppa and take some time for themselves. Our hosts and the other parents are on hand to help with babies at the drop of a hat.
